About the Facilitators:
Dr. Melissa Castaneda
Melissa is a board certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. She holds a Diplomat in Oriental medicine and has been practicing since 2014 in Miami, FL. She offers a variety of treatments including acupuncture, moxa, cupping, electric stimulation & injection therapy. Additionally, she has a love for the ancient tradition of Bhakti yoga which led her to travel to India on spiritual pilgrimages and immersing herself into Kirtan. While in India, she was introduced to Ayurvedic bodywork and nutrition which compliments her degree in culinary arts obtained in San Francisco, CA. She holds the belief that everyone has what they need to heal within, and she is here to assist in the healing.
Dr. Kathy Maalouf
Kathy teaches her classes with love and compassion. She creates a beautiful healing experience using essential oils, sound baths, and chakra balancing. She facilitates the monthly reiki circles and offers weekly meditation/sound bath classes in addition to teaching gentle flow and hatha yoga. She also offers private sessions for chakra balancing, reiki, and sound therapy.
Kathy spends her free time dancing, traveling, reading, and playing on the beach with her sweet little chihuahua Vito.
