🌿 A place where jungle meets the ocean
This area is famous for its untouched landscapes: palm-lined beaches, waterfalls hidden in the jungle, flowing rivers, and rich biodiversity. Scarlet macaws, monkeys, sloths, dolphins, and sea turtles are commonly seen here. The region is less developed than other parts of Costa Rica, giving it a slower, more authentic “Pura Vida” lifestyle.
Dominical itself began as a small fishing village and has become a relaxed beach town known for its consistent surf breaks and bohemian community of surfers, yogis, and nature lovers.
