TESTIMONIALS:
"Andrey Lappa's Universal Yoga is a complete integrative system that empowers people of all schools and styles of yoga. The principles and practices presented are ideal for developing ultimate creative potential and achieving self-realisation."
— Shiva Rea

Andrey’s Universal Yoga is to yoga practice what Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do is to martial arts – a style without style, or better said a style of all styles. Unlike more traditional schools of yoga, Universal Yoga is not fixed or patterned. The focus is to develop free yogis, by offering a philosophy of guiding thoughts and various techniques to open each practitioner to their own unique style, and giving them the tools to be spontaneous and adapt to any and all situations they might find in life and in their students. Universal Yoga empowers yogis to “Be like water” in their practice and their teaching.
— Copper Crow

He has studied with many well-known yoga teachers throughout the East including BKS Iyengar and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, but also with many teachers who prefer to remain out of secular life. It is from his vast experience of travels and yoga studies that have spanned India, Nepal, Tibet, Mongolia and other Eastern Republics that Andrey developed the system called Universal Yoga™. Andrey is a recognized Lama (teacher) in the Karma Kagyu lineage, the president of the Kiev Yoga Federation, the author of "Yoga: Tradition of Unification," and the author of many posters, DVDs and software programs designed to transmit the yogic concepts of control, balance, creativity, karmic freedom and ultimate liberation for all practitioners of this

WHAT IS UNIVERSAL YOGA?

Universal Yoga is a multi-faceted system of techniques that are used intelligently for the purpose of furthering ones' spiritual growth. The system is based on the concept of the mayakoshas (sheaths) or layers of being, that include the physical, energetic, emotional, mental, intellectual, bliss, fluctuating mind (chitta) and karmic layers. The purpose of this system is to provide balance between these layers, within each layer, and between the practitioner and the outside world. Andrey Lappa integrated yogic philosophy and physical asana with monastic techniques and codified them into a logical system that can be used by anyone living in the secular world. It is an amazing, life-transforming system that brings about physical health, emotional stability and mental clarity.
