strength and stability. Backbends requiere
surrender and trust. The heart is the gateway
to accessing the qualities that enhance
all asana. You will learn how to do more
challenging arm balances and deeper backbends,
through softening and opening your heart.
Ken has been practicing
yoga for 11 years and teaching the last
6. He has a BA in philosophy and has studied
all of the major world religions, and incorporates
them into his classes. He has studied Iyengar
and Ashtanga yoga, but has found his passion
in the Anusara style. He has been teaching
solely Anusara for the past 4 years. Ken
was drawn to yoga to improve his rock climbing,
but after sustaining serious injury he learned
the beneficial aspects of yoga therapeutics
and medication.
