Synergy
Center for Yoga and the Healing Arts is
Miami Beach's original Yoga Center, with two locations
serving the heart of South Beach and North Beach/Surfside
areas. Synergy offers the South Florida communtiy
over 47 classes a week in a variety of yoga styles
with some of the area's most dynamic teachers

Classes range from traditional
ashtanga, Iyengar and Sivananda-based disciplines,
to basic yoga and beach yoga. As a healing arts
center, Synergy also provides services in yoga
therapy, reiki and other bodywork modalities.
Throughout the year, Synergy also offers a myriad
of courses, workshops and events ranging from
pranayama, meditation, thai massage and Qigong
workshops to chanting sessions with renown musical
artists.
Synergy has been training
yoga instructors since 1998. Our Teacher Training
Course includes instruction in the Iyengar, Ashtanga,
and Sivananda styles of yoga in 250 hours of classroom
training over a 3 1/2 month period, which includes
internship, practice teaching to the public. Synergy
is a Yoga Alliance Registered school. Our teachers
are well trained in yogic philosophy, as well
as in class presentation. The course focuses on
personal growth.
Synergy is
a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation
whose mission is working to create a healthier,
more peaceful world, one person at a time, through
teaching and promoting the practice of yoga.
All donations are fully tax deductible. A growing
outreach program brings yoga to underprivileged
sectors of the community.
